On August 10th, the Dallas/Fort Worth area experienced its 40th consecutive day of 100-degree heat. According to Star-Telegram, this makes the region only two days short of reaching an all-time record that was last set in 1980.

When July recorded the warmest month since 1895, another record was set. Thus far, the 2011 year has brought 47 days of three-digit temperatures and the number will likely continue to grow as days pass.

This trend of blistering heat has affected residents in the area in many ways. If you need a way to cool off without having to leave your home, contact Seahorse Pools & Spas at 817-244-1310. We want to help you cool off in this record-breaking heat.
